Brielle Competes in the Skills Canada Competition

SHS & SLC are very proud of our own Brielle Underhill! Brielle competed in the Skills Canada Competition for welding at Red Deer Polytechnic on March 16.

Brielle's thoughts on the competition:

"I was given the chance to compete in the Skills Alberta Trades competition and ended up placing 4th out of the 12 competitors. It was an exciting experience being able to test out my skills against other competitors from all around Alberta. I met new people and previous winners who are now teachers, workers in the welding industry and some are still competing at the college/university level in the SKILLs competition. Being chosen to compete in this competition was an amazing opportunity and it can open up many doors for me in the industry as I continue pursuing my welding career."
